Eve Makes Me Sick :/
HAHA!
New word Eve came up with today...USHER-ER. HA. HA. HAHAHAHAH! She's so far-neh.
If you think putting Eve and a whole bunch of us Bandits would be rather weird, it wasn't too bad. Because just as I expected, there'd only be two common things between Eve and the rest.
1 Band
2 Suaning me, me and Weelyn.
The concert was rather, oh-kay. Weelyn stated if that amount of people turned up for our concert, she'd cry. That's pretty much how bad it was. Hmmm, like 7 JCs didn't take part? Well.
Yesterday was "go hunt down the places we called up" for jobs. I'm hoping I get 2 jobs, so I can juggle both and get the fuck shit money out of both. But I'm rather doubting my ability of getting both. Oh well. Er yeah, we did get down to the Central, and I did mention it was lame and boring, but we had no choice. Weelyn then had a brilliant idea of taking the shuttle bus, ok, I did ask her to get on the bus, BUT, the thing is it took 38 mins for us to get from the Central to City Hall, because we 'toured' around Orchard Road in the bus. Even walking to City Hall from Clarke Quay would be much duper faster. So, as we had that rather quick tour in Orchard, we began to awe at all the houses in town. Yes, I'm gonna grow up and own one of those type of houses. And we were thinking about life, and Weelyn told me a chinese saying (which I obviously didn't understand) but it was about how extreme lives can get. Imagine. Singapore is so fucking small, yet the high end is extremely different from the low end. Imagine us, people who live in HDBs, are in awe when we look at the houses in Orchard, but do those living in Orchard get amaze at the 'simplicity' or should I say, the togetherness of HDBs? I doubt so. This is as to how different lives can get. But I still chose to believe each end are to only a certain advantage.
If I stay in Orchard, I will definitely be bored to my wits, at a certain point of time, and how often do these high enders get to enjoy hawker centre food and the buzz of the crowd (excluding those of shopping malls)? If I stay in a HDB, and lead a simple life, how often would I get to enjoy having parties, like real parties, because we're so darn restricted in a HDB flat? Or, how often would I get to fly overseas and enjoy my entire life in the materialistic world. Who knows, (I did read in the papers once before), that a hawker can be a millionaire or something... Seriously, that'd be the best situation to be in. You'd get the best of both worlds. Back to reality, we were made who we are, for a simple reason which we might not know now, but we will eventually know as life proceeds. You see, this is what happens when you get long bus rides.
Class gathering yesterday was pathetic but it was still good company. I would say I prefer Blk 85 compared to ECP's hawker centre. If I'm smart, I wouldn't open a satay stall there. How Abi, Dode and Jessie got bombarded by Satay stalls before they even got a seat was hilarious, and their solution, was even more intelligent. 10 sticks from each stall. Total, 3 stalls, 30 satays. Everyone was laughing at how I got a tiny coconut compared to others' HUGE ones for the same price. So Dode kindly got me another coconut, when I wanted sugar cane juice, and I forced myself to finish the entire thing, and had to suffer by holding my bladder, while the others played Truth or Dare by the beach. Oh and 'Would You Rather...' Most 'Would You Rather' were compared to Dode. There was one like "Would you rather get stuck in the desert with Audrey or Weelyn?" (I think it was Weelyn), and Maxine and Clarissa said Audrey, not till I started randomly throwing sand and shouted "Eh! Sand Storm!" and Maxine immediately changed her mind. HAHA! We were planning on attempting to have another gathering, but Abi keeps emphasizing that only she and Jessie would turn up. How can that be, when the Bandits makes up about 1/4 of the class? HA! :D
So, today, I actually did speed shopping with my mom. And for the first time, I did not lose my temper. I usually lose my temper when I'm out with my mom, I don't know why. But that's always the case, and so, I managed to successfully walk into m)phosis and come out with a bag! :D In less than 15 mins. Power. I've yet to go get a huge bag (possibly vintage looking) and a new hoodie. Because I seriously hate the whole "Love at First Sight" thing when you go shopping and don't buy a bag. Seriously seriously hate it!
Joke of the Century: I dreamt that Indian Idol won Asian Idol, but...I found out Hady won. Seriously...WOW.
Gonna send JiaNing off in the morning, followed by Skinnies/Shorties shopping in Bugis, and then Gay Brothers Gathering (Kieran and Ervin, and impossibly Adrian, LOL!) at Weelyn's.
Guess what! I'm one-hundred-and-fifty-bucks RICHER! :D Shiok ah. All the money, apparently seems to come in only after Christmas. That's the sad part.
