A Review of The Good and The Bad in 2006.

I hope this would not turn out emo at all and I hope whatever I had in my mind comes out here. Well, here goes, the year for you. This is going to be long. Beware. Haha.

The Start of School.

Who can ever forget the most significant part of the first day of school? The day when we were told the worst news ever. This old woman is posted to 3/6 as form teacher. I can even remember my reaction. I was running around, telling everyone "Wow, damn it, Sec 3 life is going to be fucking nice! We've got a bloody old woman for a form! We can bloody hell bully her like shit! Shiokness!" Yes, to only find out when we went back to our classroom, we were scolded for making so much noise, by who? Someone by the name Sim Pheck Choo. Life became really bad from then on.

Camp Corri, 18th to 21st January (I'm not quite sure, I don't even bother to remember the dates).

It was horrible, DUH. With the huge amount of hatred we had for Mr Chan and Sim Pheck Choo, Camp Corri couldn't be worse. 3/6 faced huge biasness, punishments but it surely made us bond. Definitely. Camp Corri, had almost all the Sec 3 classes pitying 3/6. Haha. Well, the only good parts of the camp were the long bus rides, the time we got to crap together and not to forget hold our bladder and to only await a toilet along the roads of somewhere near Pahang. And to only get, a stinking toilet, I wouldn't even call it a toilet, there weren't any flush, and there weren't any toilet roll. But thanks, to Ivana for being so prepared. Haha. The other good time of the camp would be the time when we gathered in the room/chalet/(I can't remember what they called it) to watch retarded shows, like "The Notebook" and some other Opera, and we would go horny at all the sex scenes. It was plain hilarious. And I still remember all the fun we had in the room, the lizard, and watching WWE, and halfway, being disturbed by Mr Quek, knocking on the door. And us, faking to sleep. Oh the good times.

Istana Performance, 31st January.

Yes, and my solo screwed up. Performance was quite alright, as we had quite a lot of supporters huh? Other bands were playing Chinese New Year pieces, and lucky we weren't. The crowd flowed in when we started playing. I can still remember how we all squeezed into this cramped place, just to get a picture taken together with the president. Haha. And we kept making fun of what the president was doing, like "Be patient, he's making prata for us." Lol.

Sounds of Music, 24th February.

Everyone was ecstatic, happy, joyous, and every word you could use to describe our feelings, due to the fact Sir made his way down from who-knows-where. Tears of joy came naturally, mine came firstly because of the screwed solo, then nextly, because of Sir. The Pre and Post-Concert was super fun I must say, memories never fade will it? Although we had to face all the talking bad from the you-know-which-cca(s), well, all the running around backstage, was still fun enough. I could have not asked for more or less. It was just right. :D Performance was great at that second, definitely, we were satisfied with all the efforts put in, but now, looking back, soundwise, it ain't that good after all. Well, we will work harder. Nevertheless, we managed to impress our loved ones who kept complaining of the long band practices we always came back from. The show wasn't stolen in the end. :)

Jason Mraz, Part of the Mosaic Music Festival, 17th March.

One of the first few days I got depressed. But I don't blame myself because the tickets were sold out.

Mid Year Exams, May.

I knew that I was going to fail badly. Results came back, it was bad. Real bad. But I consoled myself by saying that its the first time that I'm taking an exam of 9 subjects. More than that in fact. And I decided to work hard from then on. It was really fun studying with the usuals during that period of time, at the airport, that was when we could still study there. Now, we can't. Oh wells.

Catholic Camp, End of May.

It was like a getaway after receiving my results. My horrific results. It was quite an experience, and from that camp, it was the beginning of my miserable "Hangman Sleeptalk" embarrassing act of the camp. Yes, details can be found in my previous blog. Clarissa and Maxine, just had to go around telling everyone what happened. How depressing. But the camp, overall, was fun I suppose. I remember the second day(?) we spent quite a period of time talking to the juniors, it was fun. :)

Balloon Hat Festival, 5th June(?).

It was alright. For sure, I know, the rehearsal was horrible. Its very humiliating to have your band not co-operating, and there's two way much better bands in front of you. You can't hear your own sound because there's some arses behind hitting on drums, or should I say, kitchen ware. Yes, it was horrible. Moreover, the band was like crap and half of them didn't care. And taking over the role of DM just, wasn't easy at all. I was struggling. It was shitty-fied. That was one of the worse performance of my life. I almost had a breakdown, but it was retarded to have one. There was no reason to do so. Perseverance. Friends just kept me going sane. Thanks. :D The only good part of the event was the bus rides, in which we kept cam-whoring. Haha. Oh yes, it was then when Eunice became unfaithful.

Jamie Cullum Catching Tales Concert, 15th June.

I know quite a lot of people sufferred from this concert, due to my crazy obsession after the concert. Yes, I'm truly sorry those sitting near me in class, but it was a blast. And in that instant, Amanda, Clarissa and Maxine were fans as well, although they didn't had much exposure of him by that time. I could not say more. It was one of the best days in 2006. I've never been to a concert better than that. :D To think I was depressed when we found out that our tickets were right at the back. Haha. Details of this day can be found in my previous blog. I've never felt THIS insane before. Not even when I perfect a solo. Haha. It's not even close to that.

World Cup.

This made every girl in school, oogle at the hot soccer players. Yeah, everyone just diverted their attention away from everything else. We stayed up late to watch matches, made crazy plans to go Macs in the middle of the night to watch, but obviously parents didn't allow. All thanks to Channel 5 for not broadcasting all the matches. I became superbly depressed after France didn't win, and Zidane did his head butt. I've never bought that much of "The Newpaper" in my life ever. I still have it here with me, for keepsake purposes.

SYF in the Heartlands.

My final performance with the Drama Curriculum. Tampines Mall. Dry run, itself was pretty much very sucky because we were being bossed around. In fact, practices were already bad enough because we planned so much for improvised acting but we couldn't do it in the end, so we did normal hosting. Thanks to those who came down. Last performance, first public (proper public) performance, without Mr Ng and Ms Kang, all by ourselves, it was awesome. I miss DC!

Coldplay in Singapore, 10th July 2006.

Depression once again, because I didn't managed to go to their concert. This time, was a money issue and also because I couldn't find anyone who wanted to spend money to go with me. Boo. Haha.

National Band Competition, 15th July.

GOLD GOLD GOLD! Need I say more? Haha. This would probably rate second on "The Happiest Days of 2006". We all went crazy. We ended expecting a Silver, but lucky us got a Gold instead. Yes! Woots! We were just too lucky! I can still remember a few of us, on the phone, being on the same bus, on the same line to a few others at VCH, and conveying the message. As the result echoed in the phone, while we were trying to shift down the chimes, next thing you know was us, screaming and jumping in a not-so-big bus and caused it to even shake. I teared for who knows what. I screamed so loud, till I couldn't even shout to give instructions. But it was all worthed it. Haha. :D

The Fall, 4th August.

Sang the school song, ran during PE, fell, rolled, laughed. Next thing you know, you have the whole class crowding around you asking if you're alright. So, the most spontaneous thing to do is to laugh and not believe what just happened. I must say, it was quite hilarious. But, like a few seconds later, I took a look at my knees. They were bleeding badly, and scrapped. All thanks to Mr Jason Job Lin. Thanks for making arses like me who can't multi-task, multi task. Now, I'm scared for life. Arse. Worse time of 2006, one of the worse. I had to suffer for the next month.

National Day, Sports Carnival, 8th August(?).

It was my first time, feeling so patriotic. I couldn't take part in the events due to my leg. Pity pity. So, bandits stayed around to make noise after we played for the march past. We sounded quite good. And it was on this day that we were told that we'd be having our own concert next year. To think that they were playing around with our feelings only. Thanks alot. It was also on this day, that the band had a lecture for our irresponsible acts.

Bible Quiz, 9th September.

It was fun. We screwed it up though. But we had fun in the end. We tried our best(?), maybe. Haha. Well, it started with a serious tone but we ended up making it really fun by arguing out loud our thoughts. Damn those who set the questions. They weren't clear enough. I mean, there were quite a number of times, that it was mentioned "the man" in the Gospel of Mark. Damn it, use your brains. Haha. But, overall, fun. :)

Outward Bound School, 18th to 22nd September.

Purely fun. :D Torture at first, but come to think of it, I wouldn't mind even going through it once more. I can still remember the thought of eating proper meals at the first campus, it felt like winning a reward in Survivor. Yeah, something like that. Loved OBS, and I really miss everyone there. It really taught us a lot of important lessons. Shakleton Watch, love you guys! All the sick shit, its hilarious. :D Details of OBS on my other blog. Haha.

End Year Examination, October.

Screwed it really badly. To begin with, my Mid Year was already bad, and I deproved by one position in my End Year. Talk about working hard. Imagine sitting for papers, actually having the guts to plot yourself in the Exam Hall, not knowing a thing about the subject you're going to sit for. Insanity I know, but I couldn't care less. It actually makes me wonder, how does it feel like to sit for a paper, knowing everything.

Chijimes Jazz Festival, 15th October.

I've never seen such a wild Jazz scene in Singapore, not till this day. It was very relaxing and wild at the same time. It was like a renewal of my love for Jazz. Those who performed took Jazz to a whole new level. Awesomeness. :D

Achievers' Day.

Joke of the Century, no, Year I mean. Audrey Cullum won the Canossian Student Award and Leadership. Wow. Must be kidding, well, they weren't. I thought the world was going bonkers. Thanks to Sim Pheck Choo, that I qualified for the Canossian Student Award. I could do without that award, it made me miss watching the Creative Competition. Boo. Anyway, big deal about the awards, they were just two plastic things. Haha.

Lisa Ono Jambalaya Tour, 25th October.

This made me very depressed, the fact that I knew that Chris Botti was just a few kilometres away playing tunes on his trumpet. But, still, Lisa Ono was awesome. :D I hope Chris Botti drops by some time soon. Haha.

NCO, 6th to 10th November.

I LOVE NCO! Needless to say as well. All the fun I had, messaging Eunice when I felt anti. Haha. But seriously, the jokes we cracked as a contingent, the various No. 32s in the whole camp, the marching and Milo Ma'am, the sucky food, the dirty talk, the much praying for a good weather, the trips to and fro NCO, everyone and not forgetting POP. I thought it'd be bad, but it turned out awesome. First time I loved a camp so much. Haha. It taught me to be much more sociable. Everyone back in school were just worrying of my anti-socialness. Haha. I miss NCO! The first time I felt I really accomplished something. You can just never imagine how it felt like to accomplish something you've worked so hard for for the past 4 days.

Confirmation Camp, 11th to 13th November.

Wasn't too good, wasn't too bad. Not much comments. But cheating seriously never felt that fun. I did have fun though. :)

MOE Leadership Camp, 15th to 17th November.

Good that it was a short camp, because I think it was quite alright only. It wasn't entirely fun. First time, food at a camp tasted good. Haha.

Band Chalet, 12th to 14th December.

Do I need to elaborate on this? One word, no, two words. Fucking awesome. :DDDDDD! Haha. Yeah, despite the horror shit, it still went great. :) I love my bandits! Haha.

Jazz Workshop and Concert by Hiromi, 16th and 17th December.

Fucking awesome, as well. Inspired to the maximum. Yeah. Haha. Thanks to Mel for introducing her to me! :D Everyone should just check Hiromi out. Links at the side. :)

Now, that's about it.

You know, in fact, I miss being in 2/5, and the Year 2005. Haha. I miss being Chairman. Lol. It was fucking fun. But as much as I want to, I do not want to as well. Haha. I miss 2/5, or more or Lower Secondary. Anyways, here's the thanking part.

Firstly, I must thank all my best mates. The usuals, being Amanda Khoo, Cindy Poh, Weelyn Oh and Eunice Gee for being there all the time, during my worst and best. :) I know how you all persevered through the Jamie Cullum fever and all my post-camps stories I had to tell. Haha. Thanks a whole lot. I love you all. :D

The Clique, yes, needless to say, I love every one of you. KT, Gen, Ern, Nat, Weelyn, Eunice, Amanda and Cindy. Love, love and loved.

All the 3/6ers. Especially those who sits around me. Clarissa, Maxine, Anne, RJ, Michelle, Ethel, etc. Thanks for motivating me in studies which didn't really work, but yeah, and for tolerating my talks about Jamie. Thanks for making 2006 one fun year in 3/6, all the teasing of Sim Pheck Choo. Haha. No, Hur Hur Hur!

Close friends, including Simei-ans, who supported me like hell, who kept me sane. Thanks. I need not mention names because you all know who you all are.

Seniors, how can I forget you all? Haha. Thanks for helping us in everything we do, for all the support, and tolerance you all had. Oh and for bringing so much live to the band! Lots of Love!

All Bandits! Fellow Sec 3s, and juniors alike. I love you all. For all the hard work put in, for NBC and a few others. Thanks. And for making band practices really fun. :D

To all my fellow campers, from MOE and OBS, thank you for making camping fun. Haha. Shackleton Watch members, thanks! I love you all!

To all the 32nd NCO people, for making it fucking awesome. Thanks a whole lot! I love you all as well. Thanks for making me not anti-social. Lmao. Well, you guys rock!

Thanks to EVERYONE, who helped me grow in one way or another. I can't say more than I love you already. Haha. Well, yeah, I really do. :) Thanks for making 2006 a wonderful year, be it good or bad, it was sure one year of fucking good memories.

Let's hope for the better, if it can get any better, in 2007!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATALIE!

I'm sorry if I've lost you halfway while you took the time and effort to read the previous long long, super duper long three part entry I did. Sorry for the crappiness in that three part entry. I was too bored and wasn't in the right state of mind. Haha.

Well, reply to tags.

Clarissa: AHHHH! I'm so scared. Hah.

Amandie: Everyone has been to Wikipedia. Almost everyone. Haha. And as I've said just now, I have no comments.

Jeanette: Well, alright then. Haha. And great that you've linked me. :)

Weelyn: Cleared SOME only. You're retarded. And alright, credits to Weelyn for helping me with the links. But you realised that I did some by myself.

Debbish: Yeah, I will. Soon. Haha.

Qihui the Pro: Ok there won't be a difference in band anyway. Haha. Well, anyways, if I knew who the hell someone is, I'd say right, like what Weelyn said.

Abigail: Yes, I know its you. Lol.

Someone: You're just retarded. Please stop tagging with "someone".

Chandni: Yeah, thanks for the card! And, I'll link you soon eh. Haha.

Mel: Did you get the latest Damien Rice album yet? Haha. Then I'll exchange with you. Lol. And, I suppose we adore each other too much. Haha.

That's all. Thanks for tagging. Haha.

Clique dinner to celebrate Nat's birthday was quite alright, I prefer the New York New York one though. Told you seniors we were broke. Haha. The settling of the bill was hilarious, that I must say. Guys at Cafe Cartel are interesting. Haha. And, I bet Nat was so jealous their manager served me my food eh. Haha. Last thing to note down from the food at Cafe Cartel, it sucks. No wonder, my brother told me to boycot them. Now, I know why.

I slept for 14 hours. That 14 hours were to recover from the lack of sleep I suffered severely but not so severely from the day I did the three part post. Yes, and I'm not sure if it helped much. Anyways, went to study with Amanda today at Subway Marina. However, I was fighting more with the cold than the homework. So, I didn't do much work. I only managed to do part of History. And I realise that most of the homework is due in the second week of the first term. So, yeah, that's if you didn't realise.

I've gotten myself "The Open Door" aka the Evanescence album and one of Maroon 5's accoustic mini album thing. I had quite a hard time deciding which album to get, the Evanescence one or the Switchfoot one. Since Amanda said Evanescence, and based on the fact, that the songs on the Switchfoot one, sounds almost the same as the other album Gen helped me download, I decided to get "The Open Door". And, Maroon 5 is not gay. They're just a bunch of guys who make fucking good music, which tends to sound a little high at times. Haha. That does not mean gay, you arses who say they're gay. Lol but seriously. I'm going to get the Charlie Parker album next.

I almost got the Charlie Parker album at HMV, but the thing was that, the album we saw at the other music shop at Marina Square (can't remember the name), costed only 20 bucks +. The one at HMV costs a whopping 30 bucks plus if I'm not wrong. So, Amanda and I thought, it was because the album at HMV is in a better condition and has all the blah blah addition shit. But, that's not true a lil bit at all. I looked around the jazz section of HMV, and saw Hiromi's second album, which costed 28 bucks there, while I only got that album for only 20 bucks at the Esplanade shop. Looked around for more. I saw this Herbie Hancock album which I could get at Gramophone for only 9 bucks. Guess how much they sold it at HMV? 20 bucks +. See. This is all for knowing too much of prices of albums and checking out every music store. It actually pays. :). Amanda says, that she can hear Parkway Gramophone calling us now. Haha.

Studying on New Year's day at Parkway Coffee Bean, maybe. Hope so. That's depressing. Haha. I've yet to complete half of my homework.

There's violin combined lesson tomorrow, to add on, with the more advanced arses. That means bad, bad things are going to happen.

I'll be coming online on 31st that would be either late-tomorrow or on Sunday, hopefully, to do a review of 2006, the good and bad. Stay tuned.

Third post in less than 12 hours.

I can't believe I told Monica and Josephine good luck when I heard that the Junior Band is going to have an exchange with the band from Alaska. I said..."Good luck, you will have a hard time understanding them." What a fool I was. Let me enlighten some others who were in the same boat as me once again.

Alaska, is a state of the United States of America. Alaska is located in the extreme northwest portion of North America. It is by far the largest U.S. state in area, but one of the least populated. It is also one of the wealthiest and racially diverse states.
Purchased from Russia on April 16, 1867, Alaska became the 49th US state on January 3, 1959. The name "Alaska" is most likely derived from the Aleut Alyeska, meaning "great country", "mainland" or "great land."

Alaska is one of the two U.S. states not bordered by another state, Hawaii being the other. It is the only non-contiguous state in North America; about 500 miles (800 km) of Canadian territory separate Alaska from Washington. Alaska is thus an exclave of the United States that is part of the continental U.S. but is not part of the contiguous U.S. (The other two exclaves of the United States are the Northwest Angle of Minnesota, and Point Roberts, Washington.) Alaska is also the only mainland state whose capital city is accessible only via ship or air.

That's from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska :)

Alright, that's about what you all need to know about Alaska. The rest is just too detailed. Anyway, goodness to think that some of us thought that Alaska was in North Pole and one thought it was near Mexico (around there). Gracious me. Haha.

And to think I cracked a super duperly lame joke or rather, "joke", being...
Me: Where is Alaska ah?
Cindy: How'd I know?
Me: Is it in North Pole?
Cindy: Maybe.
Me: Then, if that's the case, the band people from there, will always be flat.

Haha. I was rather high and my mind wasn't in the right state of mind.

We're fools. But honestly, "Alaska" sounds like a North Pole place. Haha. I told the section, "I'm going to go to Hawaii next year, asking the people, Do you know where Singapore is?, and they're going to reply me, China." Haha.

Its 4.43am. I don't feel like sleeping, for fear I can't get up for band later. Ah, heck. I shall just sleep now. Goodnight arses. :)

I'm sorry to make reading my blog such a chore but yours truly is getting really bored, and has nothing better to do. Sorry if I'm not being a good example by being early for band, but I do hope I'll be early for band tomorrow. Pray for me, the lost soul.

Well, so Weelyn, has always stated that the Twelve Days of Christmas, is something signigifcant and she has been using the 12 days as an excuse most of the time. Since I'm so bored, here's something for you all to fill yourself with. It's pretty interesting, I suppose, probably only when you're in my place now.

Taken from http://www.crivoice.org/cy12days.html but for the convenience of all, I'm copying mostly everything out.

The Twelve Days of Christmas is probably the most misunderstood part of the church year among Christians who are not part of liturgical church traditions. Contrary to much popular belief, these are not the twelve days before Christmas, but in most of the Western Church are the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25th until January 5th). In some traditions, the first day of Christmas begins on the evening of December 25th but the following day is considered the First Day of Christmas (December 26th).

The origin of the Twelve Days is complicated, and is related to differences in calendars, church traditions, and ways to observe this holy day in various cultures (see Christmas). In the Western church, Epiphany is usually celebrated as the time the Wise Men or Magi arrived to present gifts to the young Jesus (Matt. 2:1-12). Traditionally there were three Magi, probably from the fact of three gifts, even though the biblical narrative never says how many Magi came. In some cultures, especially Hispanic and Latin American culture, January 6th is observed as Three Kings Day, or simply the Day of the Kings (Span: la Fiesta de Reyes, el Dia de los Tres Reyes, or el Dia de los Reyes Magos; Dutch: Driekoningendag). Even though December 25th is celebrated as Christmas in these cultures, January 6th is often the day for giving gifts. In some places it is traditional to give Christmas gifts for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Since Eastern Orthodox traditions use a different religious calendar, they celebrate Christmas on January 7th and observe Epiphany or Theophany on January 19th.

By the 16th century, some European and Scandinavian cultures had combined the Twelve Days of Christmas with (sometimes pagan) festivals celebrating the changing of the year. These were usually associated with driving away evil spirits for the start of the new year.

The Twelfth Night is January 5th, the last day of the Christmas Season before Epiphany (January 6th). In some church traditions, January 5th is considered the eleventh Day of Christmas, while the evening of January 5th is still counted as the Twelfth Night, the beginning of the Twelfth day of Christmas the following day. Twelfth Night often included feasting along with the removal of Christmas decorations. French and English celebrations of Twelfth Night included a King's Cake, remembering the visit of the Three Magi, and ale or wine (a King's Cake is part of the observance of Mardi Gras in French Catholic culture of the Southern USA). In some cultures, the King's Cake was part of the celebration of the day of Epiphany.

The popular song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is usually seen as simply a nonsense song for children. However, some have suggested that it is a song of Christian instruction dating to the 16th century religious wars in England, with hidden references to the basic teachings of the Faith. They contend that it was a mnemonic device to teach the catechism to youngsters. The "true love" mentioned in the song is not an earthly suitor, but refers to God Himself. The "me" who receives the presents refers to every baptized person who is part of the Christian Faith. Each of the "days" represents some aspect of the Christian Faith that was important for children to learn.

However, many have questioned the historical accuracy of this origin of the song The Twelve Days of Christmas. It seems that some have made an issue out of trying to debunk this as an "urban myth," some in the name of historical accuracy and some out of personal agendas. There is little "hard" evidence available either way. Some church historians affirm this account as basically accurate, while others point out apparent historical discrepancies. However, the "evidence" on both sides is mostly in logical deduction and probabilities. One internet site devoted to debunking hoaxes and legends says that, "there is no substantive evidence to demonstrate that the song 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' was created or used as a secret means of preserving tenets of the Catholic faith, or that this claim is anything but a fanciful modern day speculation. . .." What is omitted is that there is no "substantive evidence" that will disprove it either.

It is certainly possible that this view of the song is legendary or anecdotal. Without corroboration and in the absence of "substantive evidence," we probably should not take rigid positions on either side and turn the song into a crusade for personal opinions. That would do more to violate the spirit of Christmas than the song is worth. So, for the sake of historical accuracy, we need to acknowledge this uncertainty.

However, on another level, this uncertainty should not prevent us from using the song in celebration of Christmas. Many of the symbols of Christianity were not originally religious, including even the present date of Christmas, but were appropriated from contemporary culture by the Christian Faith as vehicles of worship and proclamation. Perhaps, when all is said and done, historical accuracy is not really the point. Perhaps more important is that Christians can celebrate their rich heritage, and God's grace, through one more avenue this Christmas. Now, when they hear what they once thought was a secular "nonsense song," they will be reminded in one more way of the grace of God working in transforming ways in their lives and in our world. After all, is that not the meaning of Christmas anyway?

Then here's the part, I bet you didn't know about. It's very interesting. Haha.

1st day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
A Partridge in a Pear Tree
The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, recalling the expression of Christ's sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: "Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered you under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but you would not have it so . . . ." (Luke 13:34)

2nd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Two Turtle Doves
The Old and New Testaments, which together bear witness to God's self-revelation in history and the creation of a people to tell the Story of God to the world.

3rd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Three French Hens
The Three Theological Virtues: 1) Faith, 2) Hope, and 3) Love (1 Corinthians 13:13)

4th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Four Calling Birds
The Four Gospels: 1) Matthew, 2) Mark, 3) Luke, and 4) John, which proclaim the Good News of God's reconciliation of the world to Himself in Jesus Christ.

5th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Five Gold Rings
The first Five Books of the Old Testament, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch: 1) Genesis, 2) Exodus, 3) Leviticus, 4) Numbers, and 5) Deuteronomy, which gives the history of humanity's sinful failure and God's response of grace in the creation of a people to be a light to the world.

6th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Six Geese A-laying
The six days of creation that confesses God as Creator and Sustainer of the world (Genesis 1).

7th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Seven Swans A-swimming
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit: 1) prophecy, 2) ministry, 3) teaching, 4) exhortation, 5) giving, 6) leading, and 7) compassion (Romans 12:6-8; cf. 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)

8th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Eight Maids A-milking
The eight Beatitudes: 1) Blessed are the poor in spirit, 2) those who mourn, 3) the meek, 4) those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, 5) the merciful, 6) the pure in heart, 7) the peacemakers, 8) those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake. (Matthew 5:3-10)

9th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Nine Ladies Dancing
The nine Fruit of the Holy Spirit: 1) love, 2) joy, 3) peace, 4) patience, 5) kindness,6) generosity, 7) faithfulness, 8) gentleness, and 9) self-control. (Galatians 5:22)

I bet you arses who sing the song like really really fast, recalling all the words, didn't know that. Glad, that I managed to enlighten some. Haha. So, now, I think I should try proposing, that school should only start on January 7th. Wait, that's a Sunday. No, on January 8th if that's the case.

I think some might have had a difficult time understanding parts. Good for you if you read all because then, you're smarter by 0.000000000001 %. :)

It's 4.30am. Now, I'm going to go research on where in the world Alaska is.

It's been quite a while I heard Jamie's music. And I am, right now.

Firstly, Happy Birthday Joycelyn!

Alright, now's the replies to the tags.

Anne Efron: Yes, I heard that too. I've never felt that happy in ages. Not happy, ecstatic! Haha. But, we can't rejoice too much yet eh. What if it's ain't true?

Qihui the Pro: Bandits is just a term, it's nothing insulting. If you're not a bandit, you're not in band then. And, what's wrong with being the last? Lol. Just, feel honoured that you're in my links. Haha.

Amanda: Needless to say, I'm already cool. :)

Lydia: Yeah, they're coming soon. Don't worry. I'll see if Jamie allows first eh. Haha.

Blog.

Alright, apparently, I found out that we weren't supposed to do combined on the 22nd and 23rd. Goodness gracious. How wasted. Anyways, band practice today was rather...I have not much comments. Except for the fact, that Adlin came back and I gave out the Christmas cards really happily, the rest was just, "Right". Fall in and drills, are becoming a chore. The seniors are doing perfectly fine. The problem lies in the you-know-who. I don't understand, what's so difficult to understand in the lines "Stop moving!" or "No touching of hair, face, or any other sorts." Apparently, our juniors, find it really difficult to understand. Discipline, crap. The juniors, need to come back to their senses. Thank God, that tomorrow would be the last practice in the holidays, with drills.

We sounded really bad today(?). Rusty. Unpolished. Every term you could use to describe us would be bad. Haha. Well, it's the lack of self practice eh. Sectionals was, no comments. I'm so glad Cindy and I took Amanda Tan 2 to 1. Pressure, obviously but at least, we managed to get her through those 3 to 6 bars. Haha. Satisfaction just from those bars. :) Now, the problem lies in, some others in the section.

The Hawaii Schedule/Programme is out. Somehow, it looks like we've got loads of free time. :D

Christmas dinner at Maxine's was really nice. Weelyn followed me to Parkway to go get the presents, and erm, saw someone. Well. Anyways, so, goodness. We went to Famous Amos, got cookies for Debs, and the thing was, this woman with her 4 kids, were trying all the cookies. I might as well say, "Can I try that, and that and that? Ok, I think I shall buy that huh. Oh wait, I don't have the money. Sorry. I'll come back another day." Lol. Free food. Haha. That could fill you up for a quarter of a meal already. Cool.

Headed to Perlini's. The gay guy working there, took forever to wrap, just 6 gifts. We could almost die, because as compared to the Raffles City's Perlini's, he wraps at a speed 10 times slower than the woman at Raffles. Note that the dinner, was supposed to start at 8pm (supposedly 8pm but Maxine told me 8.30pm, but best is, on the invitation, it wrote 7.30pm) Anyways, we reached Maxine's at 9pm. The taxi driver didn't know where The Baycourt was. Conversation went something like this...

Me: Erm, The Baycourt.
Taxi driver: Huh? Where's that?
Me: Upper East Coast Road, along those lanes. Not quite sure.
Td: Not quite sure, is it near The Bayshore?
Me: Erm, I suppose so...*think* Yeah, should be. *to Weelyn* Is it near The Bayshore? I think you call them and ask leh.
Td: Aiya, The Bayshore is it? Uncle got it mixed up.
Me: No no no. It's The Baycourt.

Stupid constructors and designers. Why can't you have more unique names, instead of Bay(something). Baywaters, Bayshore, Baycourt. Bay bay bay, Lim Bey Bey. Lol. Hahahahaha. I'm so mean. Anyways, the rest being Debs, Clarissa, Jo and Maxine, believed us when we told them that we missed the stop while takin 14, and we ended up at Marine Parade. I'm not quite sure how the conversation went between Weelyn and the rest, but all I know was that it was really hilarious and we kept laughing non stop. Haha.

Alright, dinner was nice. First course, nachos. Right. I thought it was appetisers but Maxine said it's part of the course. Haha. Then, mushroom soup, which was cold. Bad service. Just kidding. Haha. It's in fact, quite nice. Lol. Third course, salad. Fourth, chicken stuffed with peaches. :) Maxine can't cut the my own species for nuts. Her maid came to the rescue. Lastly, desert. Fondue! :) Five course, lousy. Lol. Just kidding. It was really superly duperly nice. I'm still very fulled. Haha. Eating slowly really helps eh.

So, while eating, Jo, received the message that Mdm Sim ain't going to be 4/6's form teacher next year. Immediately, we cheered. I've seriously never felt that ecstatic ever since whenever. This is how much I hate her. I wanted to do the "10 reasons to NOT look forward to going back to school." and I suppose, that "Hearing Sim's voice" can be striked off! Yes yes yes! Ahh! Only problem is, how true can this be? Last time, from Sec 2 to 3, it was said by a teacher, that 3/6 06's form teacher is some unknown from MOE, apparently, Sim doesn't seem to be from MOE does she? Now, that came from the mouth of a teacher. Now, this piece of info came from a teacher as well. Next bad possibility, what if we get a teacher worse than Sim, and what if we'll be seeing ourselves say "If only we have Sim now..." We can't let that happen. It better not happen because, easy, there's no other teacher who is worse than Sim. Haha. Honestly. Bad thing about not having Sim Pheck Choo, is that, 4/6 07 can't laugh randomly with THAT signature laugh "Hur hur hur" in any lesson. Well, maybe we can, but it won't be as funny, as done in Sim's lesson. Wait, I think she'll still be teaching us. Goodness. God, Save Us! But, I suppose, not having her as our form, is good enough. Haha.

You know, I've always wanted to say, that I wanted a younger sibling eh? Yeah, and then, once, I said, "Not anymore" because when one says "Younger sibling", I think of Kieran Oh. But, now, if my younger sibling were to be someone like...Maxine's brother, Raphael (I suppose, that's the spelling), I totally wouldn't mind. I mean, he's really cute. Haha. Irritating, at times. But he has this really wild and huge imagination. Haha. And he's really funny. I bet, Maxine thinks I'm crazy now. I guess, I'm too deprived of having anyone to play with when I was young. Result of playing and talking to one's self, emo kid. I can still remember very clearly playing with lanterns BY MYSELF at the playground. Ah. The, embarrassment. Well, that was in the past. Cousins were ages older so, not all the time would they entertain me. Maybe when I was aged 10 and below. But life got boring when I was 10 to 13. Haha. Very boring, I must say.

Yes, I've received Jeanette's, Lydia's and Maxine's christmas cards. Jeanette's one is really sweet, Lydia's one is really plain but it's the thought that counts, and Maxine's is really, no comments. I don't like pink, Maxine. I can show you the card Maxine sent me last year, and the one she sent this year. Goodness, they both say the same thing...something around these lines "I know you LOVE pink." I don't. But Maxine's one this year, is really erm, funny. Out of the three cards I received today, one of them was scented on the outside. I realised it came from Maxine's card. Opened it, next thing I know is that, she actually sprayed perfume on the card (?) and drew an arrow, and wrote "Scented Paper!" Maxine, right and funny. Haha. I like Lydia's card. It's pretty. Haha. And for Jeanette's one, it sounds so...emo. But I feel like a awesome senior after reading it. Haha. You're totally welcomed! Lots of love! Sherri says I write emo cards. Haha. I do? I think the cards I wrote to Farah and Sherri are quite emo. However, only Sherri told me she felt like crying after reading the card. Farah, didn't seem to have any reaction. What to expect, she's cold blooded, and has no feelings. HAHA! Lol! Just kidding.

I can't believe that Mel, my cousin, the awesome musician I adore, linked me and told her friends to come to my blog. HAHA. Thanks Mel, I love you. But why? I feel weird. Lol. There's nothing special here. :)

Since I'm superly duperly bored, I've decided to post about...

How To Save Money In 2007.*
*Results may vary. Or in fact, results WILL vary.

Yeah, note the "*". Hahaha. If you're in SACCB, I suppose you'd want to save every possible cent you can for Hawaii. Yes, you do. Doesn't matter if you're not in SACCB anyways, this works for everyone. It should. I realise, that I save really well. BHB? Don't care. Anyways, some complain to me, saying they can't save and they're amazed at how I save. So, I'm being Oh-so-nice as to share my tips with you all lovely people here. Haha. Yes. And point to note, I don't cheat my mum. For goodness sake. Lol.

Well, here's how.

Firstly, sit down with the one who gives you your daily allowance or weekly or monthly allowance. And discuss about your allowance. Honestly, weekly or monthly allowance are the best. Its easier to save. It actually depends on your perference. E.g. For the desperate situation in which you get really little, like 30 per week, save aside about 15 bucks for savings. So, 15 bucks left. Then, divide by 5, 3 bucks per day. Obviously, if you're in SAC, which retarded stall in the canteen provides you enough for your recess and lunch for just 3 bucks?! So, be smart, you either diet or, bring your own food from home. Be disciplined, wake up early to make your own food. Or, see, the thing is, to be smart like me, tell your mum/dad/maid, whoever who does the grocery to buy the cereal in small boxes thingy. One day, one flavour. And if you feel like a loser bringing boxes of cereal to school, put it in a ziploc bag. They look much cooler that way. Lol. Anyway, so the money spent for the cereal is in fact, from your parents. Haha. See, smart eh. So you save. Drinks, drink water. 50 cents being saved is quite a lot already. Anyway, and so, don't buy junk food after school. Resist the temptation. It's not that easy. I've tried before. Sometimes, it might not work. But with sheer determination of saving lots of money, perservere. In no time, you'd be saving lots and not to mention, losing weight as well. Don't be an idiot to eat cereal everyday. Be smart, switch to some cheaper food at times. 3 bucks can get you a plate of mixed rice, and a drink for lunch. Cereal for recess.

And, if your parents are more generous with your allowance, good for you.

Want to know why Eunice Gee, Weelyn Oh, Amanda Khoo and Cindy Poh, say I cheat my mum? I don't. I'm just being smart. It's not entirely of using her but it's more of being smart. Ok, so I get this certain amount everyday. When I come back from school, I'm left with about half of the original amount. I know my mum checks my wallet, so obviously, the smart me, takes out my money, puts it directly into my piggy bank, which is some box from Ikea, leaving only a few coins in my wallet. See. So, she thinks I spent all my money. I know she ain't that dumb, she knows I'm saving. So, she asks, "What happened to all your money?" If you encounter such incidences, just say, "Oh, on food." Food, at the moment, at most of our ages, in parents' view, are very necessary. So, they can't say, "Stop eating and save your money." My mum never does that. Then, if she doesn't automatically put money into my wallet, I'll ask. So, I end up saving quite a lot. Haha. That can be applied to those who gets daily allowance.

When there's an opportunity to save coins or notes, save it. Duh. Oh and if your parents realise that you're having cereal, say "I'm trying to save my money because the money you all give isn't that much for me to save." Some will take pity, then they'll give more next time. Ok, that came right off my mind. I'm not quite sure if it'd work. But if it does, and you have money allowance, good for you.

So, after every month, do a monthly check on how your savings' going. Point to note. Never, never ever, open your piggy bank and take the money out to spend randomly. I've done that before. It sucks really badly.

Sometimes, you aren't at fault for not being able to save much. I know, sometimes, it's the parents. It gets really sucky. I understand. I don't get money on some days. When you're going out on weekends, ask for more money and never resort to your savings, yet. Never.

Now, you know how to save. Great. Happy saving. I've got absolutely no problem on saving. Maybe I do. The problem is that, I save every bit I can. This includes coins. I save lots of coins. Apparently, this year, I saved so much coins, that when I wanted to spend them, I didn't know how to. Imagine going to a shop, pouring out all your coins. How embarrassing. So, when I find out how to avoid saving coins, I'll share.

Other problem would be not knowing what to spend your savings on. This happens to me all the time. It pretty much sucks, sad to say, but yeah. You feel so awesomely good when you save so much. All the effort and hardwork, but when you want to spend, you feel like there's so little money and you don't know what to spend on. When I find a solution to this, I'll share as well.

I learnt from my dearest junior Michelle, another full proof plan to save. Don't buy food when you're out with a friend. Watch them eat. This works really well when you're out with a big group, about 5 and above people. For sure, there'd be someone going, "I can't finish my food. Who wants?" Tadah! Solution to your hunger. :) We found that out after going to get the NBC prize. We went to the food court, and she was the only one not eating. Apparently, I think I said..."I can't finish my food." She immediately responded when I asked who wanted it. Goodness, and we knew what her trick was. Lol.

Want to know my plan for next year, I'm not going to go down for recess. I'm going to try to save every single bit. Bring cereal. Then, stay in class and ...*sensored part, for fear of teachers who read blogs*...and study. :D Genius. Just be disciplined. Haha. Yeah right.

Please note, that the few paragraphs above are really random, but I'm superly duperly bored and have nothing to do, besides homework, *rolls eyes* so thus, this LONG entry. If you were smart enough, you'd have ignored those paragraphs. Good for you if you read EVERYTHING. :D It's just part of my 2 to 3am sickness. I bet some got loss halfway reading. Losers.

Oh I forgot to mention that I was late in meeting the usuals this morning. Haha. Lucky nobody betted. Nobody was even online so late, I think. Band's in about 5 hours time. I don't feel like sleeping. I bet I won't be able to wake up. Weelyn is going to call me at 730am tomorrow. Good luck to her.

I never knew having a tagboard could be so interesting. So, here are the replies to the tags, because if I were to tag, I'd be flooding the board. Anyways, here goes. Haha.

Maxine: A lump of coal? What more can I expect from Maxine? Haha. Oh and Hohohos back to you as well. Haha.

Wilson: 3rd day of what? Christmas? Haha. Merry Christmas again anyways.

Mel: I LOVE YOU! Haha. That's needless to say eh. Yeah, I realised that too. I'll try my best to change it. I'm hopeless at blogger. If I were to put you under, "Family", you'd be the only one. Ask Tiffy to have a site of her own. LOL! Haha. And there's no need to adore me because I adore you as well.

Mrs C Ronaldo: Clique Outing on Thursday? Ms Gee in konichiwa right? Lol. Then, I thought Gen can't get out of the house? Haha. Do I look like I've got ka ching to go shop? Haha. I'll see how first about the shopping. You can enjoy life, I can't. Haha. And, are you the "someone"? Goodness. How retarded can you get? Lol.

Someone: Ernestine? Haha. Who would want to steal such a retarded name? Haha. Seriously.

Amanda: No need to say, I happen to realise it by myself. Haha.

Aaron: Hey there! Merry Christmas to you as well! :)

Qihui the Pro: Nope, you're not a bitch. Bitches would be referring to people like Ernestine a.k.a Mrs C Ronaldo and Cindy Y. Lol. And I have a profile now! :D

Abigail: Haha. Good for you and I've linked you!

AdelLIM: Yes, linked! Happy Belated Christmas! You should watch Little Britain. I can lend you the DVD.

Clarissa: Merry Christmas to the Kloses. Haha. Whatever happened to that family? Lol.

That's all for now I suppose. Somehow, I realise its quite a lot. Haha.

Now, on to proper blogging.

I came back from tuition just now, and I was thinking to myself "How bad can the rain get?". Apparently, till Singapore floods obviously. So, I was wondering, "Why do I love the rain so much?" Then, the wind got really stong. I was standing in the middle of the road and I couldn't help laughing to myself. This was apparently, the second time my umbrella almost flew away. Thank God, Espirit makes good umbrellas. They don't overturn like those from Baleno. Haha. I was smiling to myself, or rather laughing, as to how much of a fool I looked to others, struggling in the middle of the road, paying attention to the cars, and trying not to get wet (the umbrella wasn't of much help). I wanted to get wet for all I cared, but after sheltering myself for the past few minutes, why would I be so dumb as to get myself wet? I might not be making any sense now, I don't really care.

Yesterday, my mum asked, "Do you want to go watch The Nativity?" and so, I went to check for the timings online. Why a Christmas movie on a Christmas evening? Haha. Don't ask. Apparently, no GV cinemas were showing that movie. I browsed through. Oh wait, before that, I was talking to Weelyn on the phone about how we felt like going to Orchard. Ok, so then, while browsing through the GV website, I saw..."The Holiday", Tampines GV, 6.45pm. I looked at the time on the computer, 5.45pm (around there). Took my phone, immediately messaged Weelyn and Amanda. Next thing you know it, I was cursing my brother for being so impatient to use the toilet. I've never rushed for a movie that fast in my entire 15 years on this planet. Goodness. Cabbed down to Tampines, knocked my head while getting out of the cab, and I must say, Amanda, sorry for leaving you out eh. But, the conversation between the 3 of us, was really funny. The tension was too...tensed up.

Me: Wait, so Weelyn, have you gotten the tickets?
Weelyn: In the queue now. Hurry up, so Amanda, you coming or not?
Amanda: I don't know. I'm waiting for the bus.

*Note: It was already 6.40pm. Ok continue.

Me: Amanda Khoo, can you just get a cab now?! Its only a dollar surcharge!
Weelyn: Ya!

*Note: I was so desperate, I almost volunteered to pay for her cab fare. Lucky me, that that didn't slip out of my mouth. Continue.

Amanda: Erm...
Me: Hurry. You can rush here in time.
Weelyn: Still got advertisement.

*In the background, you hear Weelyn, letting someone else go get the tickets first*

Weelyn: Hurry up. It's like my turn already.
Amanda: Wait, how much is surcharge again?
Me: 1 dollar!
Amanda: *think, think, think* Huh.
Me: You can rush here in time, if you just hurry get into a cab.
Amanda: You sure it's 1 dollar?
Me: YES!
Amanda: I think, I shall just miss it, I'll watch it another day...
Me: What?! Huh...

It went something like that. I bet I looked like a total fool in the cab, almost shouting into the phone. Haha. Ok, so the movie was alright. Not that good after all. But, you have to understand, I wanted to watch because Jude Law was in it. Haha. The movie is too, super duperly, lovey dovey. Gosh. To think, that I once said I like romantic shows. Not anymore for sure. You see, the whole movie, overall, was too long winded. Too lovey dovey, I think I mentioned that already, and too, ridiculous. Right, Audrey Cullum, it's a damn it movie. Obviously it'd be ridiculous. Which idiot experiences such incidents in real life? It'd be crazy, like insane. Totally. Anyway, if you've watched the movie already, sad for you. If not, good for you. I'd recommend you go get the DVD instead. Anyways, if you've watched the movie, you know, the character Cameron Diaz plays, Amanda, yeah. Amanda's house is totally fabulous. Her whole collection of DVDs, saw it? Yes, that's what I want when I grow up. Exactly that. I want that kind of life. Totally. Loads of DVDs, huge house. Wow. Wait forever. So, we went to eat Macs, and headed home.

Today, who was I kidding when I said I'm going to Amanda's house to study? I packed my bad like really...neatly, that it made me wonder, "When was the last time I packed my bag, because I miss packing my bag." Haha. And so, I was so ready to go to her house, to complete at least some of my work. Apparently, I was kidding everyone. The only thing which came out of my bag at her house, were, my pencil case, and my Borders planner. Guess what I did? I forgot to include my husband's birthday in my planner. So I took those out, to note it down. How wow. Tell me about that.

It just had to rain early in the morning. I set my alarm clock at 8 am and woke up at 12 in the end. Blame it on the rain. Amanda woke up at 12 as well. Haha. So, I went to Bedok Macs to meet her. And encountered those teenagers who come up to you although they know, that you're blasting music into your ears, and they'd put a stupid piece of white thing in front of you, and ask "Sorry, can I have a minute of your time?" or what not. Instant reply to say is..."Sorry, I'm in a rush." and pretend to rush off. Worked really well this time, except I didn't know exactly where I was rushing to. So, aimlessly, I went to top up my card instead. Stood there, in the interchange by myself, looking like an idiot. Waited, called, waited, called, waited, headed to Macs. Let's just skip this part. Nothing much.

So, we met Weelyn on the bus on the way to Amanda's house. Apparently, Amanda has two computers, I mean, one computer, one laptop. So, I was using the laptop halfway, and then I shifted it. Connection lost. How wow. Yes, so we had only the computer to use.

From then on, Amanda Khoo kept saying, that my backside was really itchy. Firstly, Macdonald meal, go upsize. Secondly, move the laptop when I'm not supposed to. How'd I know I couldn't finish an upsized meal right? Haha. I was still day dreaming, and the woman asked "Upsize?" and I just went "Erm, yeah." Sorry. I didn't ask for upsize alright. Then, Khoo didn't say that I'm not supposed to move the laptop. Haha. So, in conclusion, my backside wasn't itchy. Hmph.

So, we realised, that we weren't doing any work. We said "Alright, 5, then we'll start doing." Needless to say, everyone knows the answer. Then, Weelyn and I left her house at 6.25pm when my tuition starts at 6.30pm. I don't see the need for me to be early when my teacher is late. What's the difference? Murphy would do his wonderful works.

Oh wait. Two very interesting incidents happened. Somewhat, interesting. First. I'm sorry I'm announcing it but Weelyn Oh, has 1002 emails in her inbox. The thing is that, she doesn't want to delete them. It got us really flipped out because both Amanda and I offered to help her delete since the emails are from Friendster. Ok, so, let's just ignore her. Next. Amanda Khoo, see. I forgot what I wanted to say. Oh yes oh yes. I remember. Ok, Amanda Khoo and Weelyn Oh are the most random people beside me. I was using the computer halfway, Khoo was on my left, Oh was on my right. Then, next thing you know it, you hear this...

Amanda: Eh! Today's Boxing Day! *punches me* Happy Boxing Day!
Weelyn: Oh ya! *punches me* Happy Boxing Day!

Now, imagine my face when they did that to me. And a few days back before deciding to "study" with Amanda today, ok, the conversation went something like this...

Me: Ok, so can we study on like say Tuesday?
Amanda: HUH?! Isn't that Boxing Day?
Me: Why? Cannot ah?
Amanda: It's Boxing Day.
Me: So what?! You celebrating Boxing Day ah? Wa best.
Amanda: Yeah, I'm going to box GH.
Me: Eh! I want to watch!

Right. That's how retarded we can get. Ok, let's move on to the next topic. Haha.

Tuition was alright I supposed. Indices and Surds. Hate it.

See, I've come to realise that it's up to me to make life interesting. If I keep complaining, and procrastinating, obviously life would be miserable. I was amazed at how one of my friend, (I shan't name who) looks at life. That friend, looks in different ways, the most extreme. So, that's one of my New Year's resolution. Let's see eh.

Came back from tuition and wrote Christmas cards. Don't look at me. All the Band-its, will see them tomorrow. Haha. Sorry, I was just too bored and had extra cards, so oh wells. Haha.

Band practice again tomorrow. How fun. I'm supposed to meet the usuals, excluding Ms Gee, since she's in Konichiwa, at Bedok tomorrow. Who wants to bet I'd be late? Betting ends, at 4am sharp.

I need to go to HMV to check out if they have the new Jason Mraz album in store. Haha. My hands are itching to spend the vouchers, they gave me for my birthday. Haha. I love They. Lol.

I took about an hour to do this entry. I'm typing really long entries these few days.

Happy Belated Boxing Day!

Just felt like saying this: Merry Christmas!

To Lydia: Good for you! Haha. You always read word for word eh?
To someone: Erm, what the hell? My my, you just love posting as "someone".
To Weelyn: I went for midnight mass! Haha. Yayness. And no, I don't need strepsils or cough syrup. Haha.
To Gen: Hello Hello! No, you're not confusing me. I just hope it could be better. I know who can make it better! Haha. People like you, aka, Seniors, and...Juniors! Yay! Only people taking Os are the only ones who won't make it better because they have a reason. Haha. *hint* (for next year), it's alright. I'll remind you all. Lol.

You know, we should just take the most out of this season to wish everyone since time is passing really fast nowadays. Can you imagine 2006 is almost over? It'd be over in about 6 more days. Cry.

So it turned out that I went for midnight mass yesterday, that explains why the messages some received were at 1 to 2 am. Haha. We were quite early so we ended up standing and I was wearing that pair of pointed heels. Goodness. Anyways, Adel ended up standing in front of me. I have to say her boyfriend is really random. Haha. So, after mass, we almost wanted to walk back home, just like what we did last year. So...halfway walking, I saw a whole lot of empty cabs. Smart me, suggested taking a cab because I know I'd just have died halfway. "Taxi" was all it takes. Haha, next thing you know, we were in the cab. It wasn't really called stealing a cab was it? Lol. No, it isnt.

Sleep was really good. It's been ages since I took one good loooooong rest. Alright, it's probably just about 12 hours, but still, it's really awesome. Haha. I thought it was 12pm when I woke up but instead its 3pm. So wow. :)

I feel really bored because there's no MSN. Oh wells, before the com screws up, I shall not think about that then.

To all the bitches and bastards who didn't wish me a Merry Christmas, Fuck you. Tsk.
Haha. Just kidding.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Lots and lots and lots of love!

I Love Christmas!
The lightings, midnight mass, everything! :D

It's raining. :) Sometimes, I just wonder, if I ever were to go to England to study, how would I ever perservere in the cold? It's just rain here in Singapore and quite a bit of air-conditioning and I'm freezing. But still, rain, the end result of clouds, I love you just as much. Haha.

Guess what I did immediately when I woke up to welcome Christmas Eve proper. I was trying to burst the pimple at my lip there. First thing to get depressed about. What a way to start Christmas Eve eh. So tsk.

Anyway, yes, I spent my Christmas Eve going for tuition. Yet again, how depressing. So, I managed to get up for mass this morning/afternoon. Proceeded on for tuition. I must say, tuition today wasn't that bad or probably I just felt the Christmas mood. I just hate it when Murphy does his work. Murphy's Law, its called. When I'm super duper early for tuition, my teacher's always late. When I'm late, he's early. It obviously gets on my nerves. Guess how late he was today. 25 minutes. For 25 freaking minutes, we spent in the classroom, doing our work, on a Christmas Eve. I didn't do my homework. I never do it and that's the whole point why I think tuition would never work out for me. The only piece of work I did was the Sec 3 E and A Maths one, which was on equations which was like my cup of tea, so I did it. But never will I do vectors, binomial and all the other shit which came out from nowhere because asses were bored in the past, they started taking numbers and from that second on, the future was in bad hands. Ahh!

Tuition was funny. Here's a conversation which took place during tuition...

Teacher: *Takes my foolscap pad, the one from school.* School mission, ...
Me: Aiya, talk cock one.
Teacher: ...Women of integrity...
Guy behind me (I forgot his name): Teacher! Ya! You know ah, you go to princess macs there ah, after school, you see a lot of her school people there one.

My reaction: What the hell?! See how deadly stereotypes and impressions made by some can be to others.

Wait, there are quite a few other funny incidents, I just can't really remember. Oh wait. Here's one. Took place right after the conversation above.

Teacher: You know ah, you all now very shiok ah. Last time, I have to go home, study, I very hardworking one...
Guy behind me: Teacher. You don't come and BHB again can.

LOL. Second time ever since the first lesson, he called the teacher BHB again. It's freaking hilarious. Anyways, the teacher was talking about a whole lot of stuff unrelated to Maths. He talked about, Sentosa and the Underwater World (that topic is quite hard to avoid as the guy behind me works in Sentosa and he'll keep asking the teacher whether he's been to wherever in Sentosa), marriage, what his mum did to he and his siblings when they were young, what they did to the keropok man who kept horning, gay people being talented, etc.

I had to walk home in the rain. In fact, I didn't have to. I just wanted to. I had an umbrella in my bag, but it's just that I wanted to walk in the rain and I was lazy to take my umbrella out, so oh wells. :) I bet I look like some emo kid wearing a black tee, jeans, sweater with the hood on my head, converse shoes, long hair. How much more emo-er can I sound like one to you? Haha.

I'm pretty disappointed that I'm not attending the midnight mass later but instead the 9 o clock one, which reminds me, that I can actually go watch Gabriel perform *ahems*. Sorry, felt like saying something but it got stuck in my throat. Haha. No, he's performing in a pub, I doubt I'd be able to enter and moreover it's in HarbourFront. But I really want to hear his jazz solo. Sorry Gabriel, that's if you're reading. Oh wells, at least, I can rush home to catch Love Actually :D. I like that movie but I don't have the right to say that because I've not watched that movie before. The last time we tried watching it, we paused it halfway because we didn't understand. In fact, we tried playing over and over again to understand, but we gave up. Anyways, just try figuring out why I like that movie. Haha.

It's pretty depressing school is starting in less than a week's time?, well, around there. O Levels, and what nots. The depression. Ahh! I have to spend my birthday next year, studying for a paper and doing a paper. And to add on, its my sweet sixteen! How depressing can life get?! I know in primary school, I dreaded my birthday because the Chinese End Year Paper would always fall on my birthday. I was telling Amanda that we have no life. We spend, 15 years, studying and that's if you're doing JC and University. If you wish to carry on studying, good luck.

You know, Mr Chan is quite famous. The guy behind me in tuition, asked about the gay teacher in our school. Immediately, I thought of Mr Chan. Who else in our school, being a male teacher is just as gay huh. Even some student from elsewhere knows about him. How famous. Haha.

Well well, I can't think of anything else to blog about. So to end off, once again,
Merry Christmas!
See you people in school in less than a week's time!
Lot of Love!

I think I should stop replying the tags in my tagboard. I should reply while doing an entry. Apparently, I seem to be flooding my own tagboard. How wow. Who's "someone" anyway? Haha. I don't understand why people can't just put their names while tagging, instead of something like "someone". Haha. Just put your name, you won't die.

Hello and welcome to my, erm, new blog :)

Firstly, to note, I'll be trying to type properly now. Haha. I'll try my best eh.

Ok, since I've wanted to blog about Hiromi, i shall, since I stupidly drank Starbucks on my way back from shopping and I can't sleep now. How wow I know.

Here's just an equation which would explain everything Hiromi is.
Hiromi Uehara = Inspiration + Creativity + Uniqueness

Before going for the workshop, Nat Eng and I were like, "Oh man, what if we make a fool out of ourselves there?", "Will it be hands on?", "How, how, how?!". Basically that. Well, the workshop was freaking awesome I must say. It was more of a Q and A thing, and although some idiots asked retarded questions, listening to her was really inspiring. Examples of stupid questions, ok, well, not stupid, but just questions which did not appeal to most of the people present at the workshop.

"How do you take care of your hands? Do you like put moisturisers or something?"

"I'm actually from Malaysia. Are you coming to Malaysia anytime soon?"

I respect them for asking but, its just a little too...erm, out of the topic (?) Good questions would be...

"How would your daily practice routine be like?"

"How do you infuse improvisational techniques into your music?" or somewhat similar...

And the most inspiring line she said, which made a whole lot of sense was...

"People say I'm hardworking when I tell them that I practice the piano 5 hours a day. I don't understand why because when people play the Xbox 5 hours a day, nobody calls them hardworking. So I don't understand why I'm called hardworking." or once again, somewhat similar to the lines.

Don't you think that's absolutely true? Haha. And so, once she started playing the piano, Nat Eng's and my jaw practically and literally dropped. My cousin Mel introduced Hiromi to me, and apparently, I have not heard any of her playings before, but when she started playing this tune "The Tom and Jerry Show", we went "WOW". If you want to hear it, ask me. I bought her albums. Haha.

So, what to expect, her concert was equally amazing as well, although not much of jazz was showcased. It was more of fusion and crossover. Saw Hiromi, and got her autograph! First time I went home with an artist's autograph. It felt really good. Haha. Here's the part you all are waiting to hear.

I think...Hiromi is better than Jamie. HAHA. In terms of her inspiration. But, I still love Jamie just as much. :D

Ok, next topic. Clarissa and Maxine's dance concert.

Yes, the guy who helped us in the bus, is totally cute! Haha. Oh man, he's really super duper nice to realise that we were lost, but who didn't notice that huh. Well, anyways, I think he's cute. Haha. Designer. Lol. So, he helped us a whole lot. If it wasn't for him, I think we wouldn't even have been at the concert.

Anyways, the concert was quite alright. The little dancers were really cute and Jo and Weelyn they all, just had to make a whole lot of comments. Lucky I wasn't beside them if not I'd have died. They kept making fun of the ******* look alike. Mean asses.

Temasek Concert.

It wasn't fantastically fabulous but I suppose it was just nice. Nothing much. Oh and I must say, the girl in the percussion ensemble could kill me. Literally. Based on the fact that, she's from TWE, shouldn't she be playing well? Instead, sorry, but she was totally OUT. I'm not saying that we have a better tempo but, she was really not constant in her tempo even the aunties in front of us realised. Sound wise, quite alright except for the junior band which I think was quite soft.

Then, it came to the part, everyone went crazy. The after part of the concert. I have absolutely no comments. Oh wait, I do have one. Weelyn Oh owes me big time.

Band practice on 22nd. It was... like right. Mr Heng said he was going to be coming down. Obviously, we were like afraid. Makes me wonder, why are we afraid of him and not Mr De? Ok, just wondering to myself. Don't bother answering that. Anyways, then he messaged me at 2.05 around there, that he couldn't make it. I could almost die on the spot. Two reasons. Firstly, we panicked for no apparent reason. Secondly, what were we going to do then? So we had no choice, but to work on the SYF pieces and the rest. Sherri and I conducted. It kind of sucked. Haha. What do you expect?

Band practice on 23rd was even worse. We were told by Mr Juraimi that we could use the Music Room. Next thing you know, we were told to use the MPR. Goodness. How wow. So, alright, we obediently shifted to only find out that CO had set up in MPR and they didnt want to move to the Music Room. Then I have to commend on the tolerance the Band girls had. We just tolerated everything.

Oh, did I mention that CO people are a bunch of barbarians. Sorry, but it's true. They think it's really funny to see Band girls march. Honestly, I don't see what they were laughing at. That's probably because I'm not a barbarian.

So, we ended up in the hall. Sherri and I conducted again. Thank God, that by next band practice, Mr De would be back! Alleluia!

Christmas Dinner at my aunt's.

Went there right after band practice. There was beef, lamb, chicken, ham, potato salad, salad, pasta, wine and log cake. Obviously, I didn't drink the wine, so instead, I drank the beer with orange squash. Haha. No turkey. Oh wells, it was definitely yummy. Oh and not to forget that my aunt and uncle from England came back so yeah, it was like a family reunion at the same time. Then my uncle/Godpa came. Haha. You know, I'm not even close to my Godpa. It's been ages since I talked to him. How strange but yeah. And the thing during the dinner was that, I had almost everyone there saying that I lost weight and the thing was that I didn't know how to react because I didn't think I did. So, I just went, "Oh ok. Yeah. Thanks." to almost everyone who said that. Haha. Unless, my diet plan did really work.

Oh, so after everything and before my aunt and uncle left, we decided to take, once again, a family photo which would be somewhat similar to (I can't really remember if it's during Chinese New Year or Christmas 05)'s photo. So, we took that framed photo in the house and took the same places, the exact same places, the exact same posture. Haha. It was hilarious. We kept laughing non-stop. Then so, my cousin's maid took the picture. After my cousin and my brother took the picture, the maid, her name is Celia, she took the picture... Note that there were two rows, first row consisted of almost all the ladies, second row was the men and those who were missing from the previous photo taken last year or whatever.

Celia: Ok, 1, 2, 3! *snaps*
Everyone: *relieved that it's over*
Celia: Oh wait! Take again!
Everyone: Huh? Why?
Celia: I forgot to take the first row.

It was freaking hilarious. So, in other words, she was just concentrating on the second row. Lol. She's really cute. I remember, the last time she took a photo of us, she pressed the button and pushed the camera down as well. Haha.

Next topic.

Today, I got really pissed in the morning because I didn't wake up for Legion and I was late for the violin combined lesson. Whenever someone calls me and reminds me to be early, I'm always late. Somehow, it's like a curse or something. That got me really pissed off today. Apparently, my aunty sent me a message for who knows why to remind me about the lesson. So, I saved my message instead of replying an "Ok" to her. Next thing I know, she calls me on my phone and I was still sleeping. Next thing, I'm late for lesson. If she didn't tell me to be early, I would have been early. I might not be making any sense here but that's the way for me. I got so totally pissed off that I was late for lesson, I cried while being desperate to get a cab. I felt like Michelle's sister or something. Haha. I think I was just too emotional huh. Finally, got a cab at like 12.10 when my lesson started at 12pm. How wow.

Here's the funny bit. My violin teacher gave me a Christmas present. Guess what she gave me. She gave me a French Manicure set thingy. The irony is that, as a violinist, I can't have long fingernails because then, I wouldn't be able to press on the strings. How ironic eh. Haha.

Made my way to AGR which I have no comments about. The only bit I loved was the last part where we smashed the balloons. Haha. I think SAC did really well with the dance. I think it was quite obvious you all were going to win. I say "you all" because note that I wasn't in the dance. Haha. I didn't know the dance.

Took 17 to Pasir Ris interchange, and had a fun time in the bus talking to Sarah Anne. She's one joker. We were betting how long it takes from our school to Pasir Ris. Apparently, I wanted to waste my time in the bus because I was supposed to meet my mum at 8pm at Plaza Singapura, and it was only 7pm. So, I decided to take a super duper long trip to Pasir Ris interchange, then back to Plaza Singapura. How dumb, but at least she managed to entertain me.

And guess what? I spent 100 over bucks at Flash and Splash on just 4 Julius and Friends Tees. Haha. And I spent less on a cardigan, a top and a pair of jeans at U2. How wow. I'm super duper happy I must say. Now, say hello to the "Starve and Save" Campaign for next year. Haha.

Bought Starbucks and got on 14. The bus ride, was killer. The bus was freezing cold and to add on, I was holding on the cup of ice blended peppermint mocha. How wow. I was in fact, shivering. Then reached home around 1am. It was night shopping. How fun. :D

I have to go to church in about 9 hours, then go for tuition in about 11 hours, and then to church again for Christmas mass. :)

I realise that this post is super duper ultra long. I'm still not tired yet. Yay to you if you read word for word. Haha. Because if I were you, I would have just not read it. Lol.

I Love Christmas.

Merry Christmas to one and all!
That's in case I don't come online tomorrow or later.
