It's been quite a while I heard Jamie's music. And I am, right now.

Firstly, Happy Birthday Joycelyn!

Alright, now's the replies to the tags.

Anne Efron: Yes, I heard that too. I've never felt that happy in ages. Not happy, ecstatic! Haha. But, we can't rejoice too much yet eh. What if it's ain't true?

Qihui the Pro: Bandits is just a term, it's nothing insulting. If you're not a bandit, you're not in band then. And, what's wrong with being the last? Lol. Just, feel honoured that you're in my links. Haha.

Amanda: Needless to say, I'm already cool. :)

Lydia: Yeah, they're coming soon. Don't worry. I'll see if Jamie allows first eh. Haha.

Blog.

Alright, apparently, I found out that we weren't supposed to do combined on the 22nd and 23rd. Goodness gracious. How wasted. Anyways, band practice today was rather...I have not much comments. Except for the fact, that Adlin came back and I gave out the Christmas cards really happily, the rest was just, "Right". Fall in and drills, are becoming a chore. The seniors are doing perfectly fine. The problem lies in the you-know-who. I don't understand, what's so difficult to understand in the lines "Stop moving!" or "No touching of hair, face, or any other sorts." Apparently, our juniors, find it really difficult to understand. Discipline, crap. The juniors, need to come back to their senses. Thank God, that tomorrow would be the last practice in the holidays, with drills.

We sounded really bad today(?). Rusty. Unpolished. Every term you could use to describe us would be bad. Haha. Well, it's the lack of self practice eh. Sectionals was, no comments. I'm so glad Cindy and I took Amanda Tan 2 to 1. Pressure, obviously but at least, we managed to get her through those 3 to 6 bars. Haha. Satisfaction just from those bars. :) Now, the problem lies in, some others in the section.

The Hawaii Schedule/Programme is out. Somehow, it looks like we've got loads of free time. :D

Christmas dinner at Maxine's was really nice. Weelyn followed me to Parkway to go get the presents, and erm, saw someone. Well. Anyways, so, goodness. We went to Famous Amos, got cookies for Debs, and the thing was, this woman with her 4 kids, were trying all the cookies. I might as well say, "Can I try that, and that and that? Ok, I think I shall buy that huh. Oh wait, I don't have the money. Sorry. I'll come back another day." Lol. Free food. Haha. That could fill you up for a quarter of a meal already. Cool.

Headed to Perlini's. The gay guy working there, took forever to wrap, just 6 gifts. We could almost die, because as compared to the Raffles City's Perlini's, he wraps at a speed 10 times slower than the woman at Raffles. Note that the dinner, was supposed to start at 8pm (supposedly 8pm but Maxine told me 8.30pm, but best is, on the invitation, it wrote 7.30pm) Anyways, we reached Maxine's at 9pm. The taxi driver didn't know where The Baycourt was. Conversation went something like this...

Me: Erm, The Baycourt.
Taxi driver: Huh? Where's that?
Me: Upper East Coast Road, along those lanes. Not quite sure.
Td: Not quite sure, is it near The Bayshore?
Me: Erm, I suppose so...*think* Yeah, should be. *to Weelyn* Is it near The Bayshore? I think you call them and ask leh.
Td: Aiya, The Bayshore is it? Uncle got it mixed up.
Me: No no no. It's The Baycourt.

Stupid constructors and designers. Why can't you have more unique names, instead of Bay(something). Baywaters, Bayshore, Baycourt. Bay bay bay, Lim Bey Bey. Lol. Hahahahaha. I'm so mean. Anyways, the rest being Debs, Clarissa, Jo and Maxine, believed us when we told them that we missed the stop while takin 14, and we ended up at Marine Parade. I'm not quite sure how the conversation went between Weelyn and the rest, but all I know was that it was really hilarious and we kept laughing non stop. Haha.

Alright, dinner was nice. First course, nachos. Right. I thought it was appetisers but Maxine said it's part of the course. Haha. Then, mushroom soup, which was cold. Bad service. Just kidding. Haha. It's in fact, quite nice. Lol. Third course, salad. Fourth, chicken stuffed with peaches. :) Maxine can't cut the my own species for nuts. Her maid came to the rescue. Lastly, desert. Fondue! :) Five course, lousy. Lol. Just kidding. It was really superly duperly nice. I'm still very fulled. Haha. Eating slowly really helps eh.

So, while eating, Jo, received the message that Mdm Sim ain't going to be 4/6's form teacher next year. Immediately, we cheered. I've seriously never felt that ecstatic ever since whenever. This is how much I hate her. I wanted to do the "10 reasons to NOT look forward to going back to school." and I suppose, that "Hearing Sim's voice" can be striked off! Yes yes yes! Ahh! Only problem is, how true can this be? Last time, from Sec 2 to 3, it was said by a teacher, that 3/6 06's form teacher is some unknown from MOE, apparently, Sim doesn't seem to be from MOE does she? Now, that came from the mouth of a teacher. Now, this piece of info came from a teacher as well. Next bad possibility, what if we get a teacher worse than Sim, and what if we'll be seeing ourselves say "If only we have Sim now..." We can't let that happen. It better not happen because, easy, there's no other teacher who is worse than Sim. Haha. Honestly. Bad thing about not having Sim Pheck Choo, is that, 4/6 07 can't laugh randomly with THAT signature laugh "Hur hur hur" in any lesson. Well, maybe we can, but it won't be as funny, as done in Sim's lesson. Wait, I think she'll still be teaching us. Goodness. God, Save Us! But, I suppose, not having her as our form, is good enough. Haha.

You know, I've always wanted to say, that I wanted a younger sibling eh? Yeah, and then, once, I said, "Not anymore" because when one says "Younger sibling", I think of Kieran Oh. But, now, if my younger sibling were to be someone like...Maxine's brother, Raphael (I suppose, that's the spelling), I totally wouldn't mind. I mean, he's really cute. Haha. Irritating, at times. But he has this really wild and huge imagination. Haha. And he's really funny. I bet, Maxine thinks I'm crazy now. I guess, I'm too deprived of having anyone to play with when I was young. Result of playing and talking to one's self, emo kid. I can still remember very clearly playing with lanterns BY MYSELF at the playground. Ah. The, embarrassment. Well, that was in the past. Cousins were ages older so, not all the time would they entertain me. Maybe when I was aged 10 and below. But life got boring when I was 10 to 13. Haha. Very boring, I must say.

Yes, I've received Jeanette's, Lydia's and Maxine's christmas cards. Jeanette's one is really sweet, Lydia's one is really plain but it's the thought that counts, and Maxine's is really, no comments. I don't like pink, Maxine. I can show you the card Maxine sent me last year, and the one she sent this year. Goodness, they both say the same thing...something around these lines "I know you LOVE pink." I don't. But Maxine's one this year, is really erm, funny. Out of the three cards I received today, one of them was scented on the outside. I realised it came from Maxine's card. Opened it, next thing I know is that, she actually sprayed perfume on the card (?) and drew an arrow, and wrote "Scented Paper!" Maxine, right and funny. Haha. I like Lydia's card. It's pretty. Haha. And for Jeanette's one, it sounds so...emo. But I feel like a awesome senior after reading it. Haha. You're totally welcomed! Lots of love! Sherri says I write emo cards. Haha. I do? I think the cards I wrote to Farah and Sherri are quite emo. However, only Sherri told me she felt like crying after reading the card. Farah, didn't seem to have any reaction. What to expect, she's cold blooded, and has no feelings. HAHA! Lol! Just kidding.

I can't believe that Mel, my cousin, the awesome musician I adore, linked me and told her friends to come to my blog. HAHA. Thanks Mel, I love you. But why? I feel weird. Lol. There's nothing special here. :)

Since I'm superly duperly bored, I've decided to post about...

How To Save Money In 2007.*
*Results may vary. Or in fact, results WILL vary.

Yeah, note the "*". Hahaha. If you're in SACCB, I suppose you'd want to save every possible cent you can for Hawaii. Yes, you do. Doesn't matter if you're not in SACCB anyways, this works for everyone. It should. I realise, that I save really well. BHB? Don't care. Anyways, some complain to me, saying they can't save and they're amazed at how I save. So, I'm being Oh-so-nice as to share my tips with you all lovely people here. Haha. Yes. And point to note, I don't cheat my mum. For goodness sake. Lol.

Well, here's how.

Firstly, sit down with the one who gives you your daily allowance or weekly or monthly allowance. And discuss about your allowance. Honestly, weekly or monthly allowance are the best. Its easier to save. It actually depends on your perference. E.g. For the desperate situation in which you get really little, like 30 per week, save aside about 15 bucks for savings. So, 15 bucks left. Then, divide by 5, 3 bucks per day. Obviously, if you're in SAC, which retarded stall in the canteen provides you enough for your recess and lunch for just 3 bucks?! So, be smart, you either diet or, bring your own food from home. Be disciplined, wake up early to make your own food. Or, see, the thing is, to be smart like me, tell your mum/dad/maid, whoever who does the grocery to buy the cereal in small boxes thingy. One day, one flavour. And if you feel like a loser bringing boxes of cereal to school, put it in a ziploc bag. They look much cooler that way. Lol. Anyway, so the money spent for the cereal is in fact, from your parents. Haha. See, smart eh. So you save. Drinks, drink water. 50 cents being saved is quite a lot already. Anyway, and so, don't buy junk food after school. Resist the temptation. It's not that easy. I've tried before. Sometimes, it might not work. But with sheer determination of saving lots of money, perservere. In no time, you'd be saving lots and not to mention, losing weight as well. Don't be an idiot to eat cereal everyday. Be smart, switch to some cheaper food at times. 3 bucks can get you a plate of mixed rice, and a drink for lunch. Cereal for recess.

And, if your parents are more generous with your allowance, good for you.

Want to know why Eunice Gee, Weelyn Oh, Amanda Khoo and Cindy Poh, say I cheat my mum? I don't. I'm just being smart. It's not entirely of using her but it's more of being smart. Ok, so I get this certain amount everyday. When I come back from school, I'm left with about half of the original amount. I know my mum checks my wallet, so obviously, the smart me, takes out my money, puts it directly into my piggy bank, which is some box from Ikea, leaving only a few coins in my wallet. See. So, she thinks I spent all my money. I know she ain't that dumb, she knows I'm saving. So, she asks, "What happened to all your money?" If you encounter such incidences, just say, "Oh, on food." Food, at the moment, at most of our ages, in parents' view, are very necessary. So, they can't say, "Stop eating and save your money." My mum never does that. Then, if she doesn't automatically put money into my wallet, I'll ask. So, I end up saving quite a lot. Haha. That can be applied to those who gets daily allowance.

When there's an opportunity to save coins or notes, save it. Duh. Oh and if your parents realise that you're having cereal, say "I'm trying to save my money because the money you all give isn't that much for me to save." Some will take pity, then they'll give more next time. Ok, that came right off my mind. I'm not quite sure if it'd work. But if it does, and you have money allowance, good for you.

So, after every month, do a monthly check on how your savings' going. Point to note. Never, never ever, open your piggy bank and take the money out to spend randomly. I've done that before. It sucks really badly.

Sometimes, you aren't at fault for not being able to save much. I know, sometimes, it's the parents. It gets really sucky. I understand. I don't get money on some days. When you're going out on weekends, ask for more money and never resort to your savings, yet. Never.

Now, you know how to save. Great. Happy saving. I've got absolutely no problem on saving. Maybe I do. The problem is that, I save every bit I can. This includes coins. I save lots of coins. Apparently, this year, I saved so much coins, that when I wanted to spend them, I didn't know how to. Imagine going to a shop, pouring out all your coins. How embarrassing. So, when I find out how to avoid saving coins, I'll share.

Other problem would be not knowing what to spend your savings on. This happens to me all the time. It pretty much sucks, sad to say, but yeah. You feel so awesomely good when you save so much. All the effort and hardwork, but when you want to spend, you feel like there's so little money and you don't know what to spend on. When I find a solution to this, I'll share as well.

I learnt from my dearest junior Michelle, another full proof plan to save. Don't buy food when you're out with a friend. Watch them eat. This works really well when you're out with a big group, about 5 and above people. For sure, there'd be someone going, "I can't finish my food. Who wants?" Tadah! Solution to your hunger. :) We found that out after going to get the NBC prize. We went to the food court, and she was the only one not eating. Apparently, I think I said..."I can't finish my food." She immediately responded when I asked who wanted it. Goodness, and we knew what her trick was. Lol.

Want to know my plan for next year, I'm not going to go down for recess. I'm going to try to save every single bit. Bring cereal. Then, stay in class and ...*sensored part, for fear of teachers who read blogs*...and study. :D Genius. Just be disciplined. Haha. Yeah right.

Please note, that the few paragraphs above are really random, but I'm superly duperly bored and have nothing to do, besides homework, *rolls eyes* so thus, this LONG entry. If you were smart enough, you'd have ignored those paragraphs. Good for you if you read EVERYTHING. :D It's just part of my 2 to 3am sickness. I bet some got loss halfway reading. Losers.

Oh I forgot to mention that I was late in meeting the usuals this morning. Haha. Lucky nobody betted. Nobody was even online so late, I think. Band's in about 5 hours time. I don't feel like sleeping. I bet I won't be able to wake up. Weelyn is going to call me at 730am tomorrow. Good luck to her.
